Bobcat Population
As the bobcat population is rather large, it is easy to find a picture of the species and pictures of their babies.
The characteristic feature of the animal is its tail. The end of the short tail is always black, tipped with white. These handsome animals have long legs and large paws. A large specimen can weigh up to 30 pounds. An animal weighs from 15 to 20 pounds on the average.

These animals are found in almost all types of habitat. They live in mountains and even in desert areas where water is available. The species is native across the United States. These animals are generally about twice the size of domestic felines. Only they are more muscular and compact.
